The Nirmala Memorial Foundation is a group of educational institutions located in Mumbai, India. ==History== The Foundation was established by Thakorbhai N. Desai, an educationalist who worked as a teacher, and the Principal for more than 25 years, in the memory of his wife Nirmala T. Desai, who died in a road accident. It started with a Primary Vernacular (Gujrati) Medium School in Mumbai in 1984. Since then the Foundation has developed its educational activities. After having full-fledged high school in the year 1999, it started the Junior College of Commerce, then in the year 2000, it has started Junior College of Science.
